Data Mining
For agents to effectively connect to real-time information and accurately represent the world, the data they rely on must be both current and trustworthy. Accurate, up-to-date information is crucial for maintaining unbiased models and ensuring that decision-making processes are based on the best available data.
PlayHub leverages a consensus-based approach to allow users to contribute to the accuracy and reliability of the data powering its models. The process begins when a user identifies a piece of real-time information that could improve the model’s understanding or enhance its capabilities. Users can tag Aura (the orchestration layer) via platforms such as Twitter, suggesting a new piece of information that may be relevant.
How the Consensus Model Works:
Curating Information: Users can submit information, data points, or news events they believe are significant by tagging Aura on Twitter. This initiates the mining process, where the suggested data is evaluated by the community.
Verification Process: Once a piece of information is mined, other users act as verifiers or fact checkers. They assess the validity and accuracy of the data, cross-referencing it with other sources and marking it as either approved or rejected. This process ensures that only accurate and reliable data enters the system.
Consensus Window: A predefined verification period allows users to review and confirm the data. Once this window expires, the data is automatically subjected to community consensus, determining whether it is valid or not.
Integration: Once consensus is reached, the information is added to a centralized data bank, which feeds into the models and agents, keeping them updated with the latest verified data in real time. This integration allows models to adjust to new information without manual intervention, ensuring that they remain current and unbiased.
Roles and Rewards:
Curators: Users who suggest and mine new data points contribute to the growth of the model’s knowledge base. By submitting valuable information, curators play an essential role in expanding the data set.
Verifiers: Users who verify the accuracy of the mined data ensure that only reliable information is included in the model. By checking and validating the data, verifiers help to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the system.
Both curators and verifiers earn credits as incentives for their contributions. These credits reflect the value of their input and encourage continued participation in maintaining the quality of the data.
By harnessing the collective knowledge and efforts of its user base, PlayHub creates a community driven accurate data pipeline that benefits both models and users, making the platform more efficient, responsive, and trustworthy.
